Singleton PR is pleased to announce that it has joined ADS a Trade organisation for companies operating in the UK Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space industries. As Singleton PR works within these same four sectors, it was a natural choice to team up with ADS by becoming a member. ADS also owns Farnborough International Limited (FIL) which runs the Farnborough International Air Show. An Air Show that Singleton PR has a big presence supporting its international clients here in the Aerospace, Defence, Security and Space sectors.
The Singleton PR Aerospace team attends the Royal Aeronautical Society Careers Day
On Friday 8th November 2013 the Singleton PR Aerospace team attended the Royal Aeronautical Society Careers Day. The event which was held at the Royal Aeronautical Societies headquarters brought together both employers and training organisations to help and assist people looking to get into the Aerospace Industry. The event was a great success and the Singleton PR Aerospace team enjoyed the event.

The Singleton PR Aerospace Team enjoyed supporting some of our aviation clients at MRO Europe 2013 which took place from the 24-26th September.
MRO Europe brings together thousands of airlines, maintenance providers, OEMs, suppliers, and key regional players under one roof at London Excel. The event is also an opportunity for attendees and exhibitors to discover the crucial issues impacting the MRO industry in the region as well as an opportunity network with colleagues, customers, peers, and competitors from all segments of the business.
Singleton PR team assists clients at DSEI
Singleton PR clients including Tawazun (The DSEI International Partner), Kelvin Hughes and Amputees in Action were in attendance at DSEI 2013 which took place from the 10-13 September 2013 at London’s Excel Centre.
DSEI is held every two years and brings together 1,500 international exhibitors from over 50 countries as well as over 30,000 people from the defence and security industry looking to source the latest equipment and systems, develop international relationships, and generate new business opportunities. At this year’s exhibition there was a new zone which was dedicated to Medical and Disaster Relief, which went alongside the existing Air, Naval, Land, Security and Unmanned Zones. It was in this zone that Amputees in Action showcased their services in a number of demonstrations.

Clarion Events appoints Singleton PR to handle Counter Terror Expo 2014
Clarion Events, the largest independent event organiser in the UK, has appointed Singleton PR to handle the PR for Counter Terror Expo 2014 which is being held on 29th and 30th April next year at Olympia, London.
Counter Terror Expo was established to deliver a unique and secure environment in which professionals within the critically important counter terrorism and security arena could come together to share experience and gain knowledge. In the last 5 years, the event has grown dramatically to become a critically important, international gathering for leading experts from Government, the Military, the Intelligence and Security Services, the Police and the Emergency Services as well as the private sector.
In 2013, some 9254 people attended Counter Terror Expo, a 9% increase on the previous year. 91% of visitors met their objectives, 84% had direct purchasing power or influence over the purchasing process and 73% had projects planned for the following 12 months. In total, 82 countries were represented at the event.

The event included speeches from Stephen Phipson CBE, Home Office Director of Security Industry Engagement and Shaun Hipgrave the ADS Vice President of Security. Paris Air Show 2013
Singleton PR clients will be attending the 50th Paris Air Show which is held at Le Bourget Exhibition Centre from the 17th to 23rd June 2013. The International Paris Air Show is organised by Salon International de l’Aeronautique et de l’Espace (SIAE) and brings together all the industry’s players from across the globe to showcase the latest technological innovations. It attracts 290 officials from 100 countries and exhibitors from over 45 countries.

Singleton PR Clients were in attendance at EBACE 2013. The annual event is jointly hosted by European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) and the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA). It is the premier annual meeting place for the European business aviation community with over 12,000 visitors attending last year. EBACE is also the largest educational event in the aviation industry in Europe. AP&M Europe 2013
Singleton PR Clients were in attendance at this year’s AP&M Europe 2013 in Olympia Grand, London. AP&M Europe has been serving the aviation community since 2003 and remains, first and foremost, a networking event, bringing together everyone working in the commercial aviation after-market for a series of formal and informal networking activities, built around an informative and thought provoking summit, seminar & workshop programme and 10,000sqm exhibition hall.
Counter Terror Expo 2013
The Singleton PR Security Team were in attendance at the Counter Terror Expo 2013 in Hammersmith, London. The world’s leading international event to treat threat migration, protection against terrorist attacks and an understanding of modern day risk was hosted at Olympia from the 24th – 25th April. The event was largely attended by Police, Emergency Services, Government, Military, Intelligence and Security Services. This year the exhibition focused on the ever evolving nature of counter-terrorist technology and delivered content ranging from a Maritime Security and Anti-Piracy Zone to Cyber Security and Solutions Zone.
Forensics Europe Expo 2012
The Singleton PR team thoroughly enjoyed attending London’s premier Forensics Expo this week. The event which took place on April 24th- 25th has been dubbed the UK’s leading international forum for sourcing forensic products, equipment and services. The event proved an excellent source of education, best practice, training and network for the forensics sector and supply chain. The Forensics Europe Expo was an excellent opportunity to procure cost effective solutions for Forensic Analysis, Digital Investigation Services and Lab Equipment across the security sectors.
Singleton PR Aerospace Team attend Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg 09th-11th April 2013
The Singleton PR Aerospace Team attended the 14th Aircraft Interiors Expo 2013,the world’s largest dedicated cabin interiors exhibition at the Hamburg Messe in Germany. This year’s event offered the chance to see the latest designs and innovations in cabin interiors in-flight entertainment, connectivity and passenger services from over 500 exhibitors from 87 countries and gave the chance to network with more than 7,000 industry peers. The event is the largest event that is solely dedicated to the aircraft interiors industry.
LAAD Defence and Security 2013 Exhibition and Conference 09 – 12 April 2013
The Singleton PR Defence & Security Team is pleased to announce the success of the 9th edition of the International Defence & Security Exhibition and Conference (LAAD) for several of our Defence & Security clients. Business Airport World Expo 2013 and Business Jet Interiors World Expo 2013
The Singleton PR Aerospace Team attended Business Airport World Expo 2013 (March 19th-21st). The event featured 130 exhibitors from some 33 countries, including the USA, Germany, France and Nigeria. This year the event offered presentation and discussion opportunities with industry leaders in the field of business aviation, as well as the chance to engage with FBO partners.
The event was co-hosted with the Business Jet Interiors World Expo 2013, an international boutique exhibition showcasing the latest luxury Aircraft and Helicopter design. The event was attended by a global community of executive jet owners, operators and completions services. This exclusive event presented luxury seating, catering services and equipment, flooring materials and entertainment systems. A conference featuring leading designers and industry experts was a highlight of the exhibition.
Security and Policing Exhibition 2013
The Singleton PR Security Team assist clients at the Security and Policing Exhibition 2013. This year the UK’S premier security and law enforcement exhibition was located at Farnborough International Venue and Events (FIVE) from March 12th-14th. The exhibition showcased innovative products and services including capabilities deployed for the security of national infrastructure during the London 2012 Olympic Games. Cyber Security, Protective Equipment and Surveillance Systems were but a few of the themes featuring in this year’s event. With over 350 companies exhibiting, the Security and Policing Exposition was the central hub for international professionals, experts from government, law enforcement, police services, CNI and industry.
Technology for Marketing and Advertising Conference 2013
The Singleton PR team attended the Technology for Marketing and Advertising Conference in Earls Court, London, from February 26th-27th. The two day event is the UK’s largest and longest running event for the Marketing, Media and Advertising Industries. The 2013 conference offered unrivalled access to winning solutions and expert insight into the latest innovations and trends in Marketing Analytics; Data Analysis; Database Integration; Business Intelligence; Data Management Software; Data Cleaning; Market Research; Document Management; and Customer Insight. The Singleton PR Defence Team is pleased to announce the success of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) for several of our defence clients. The tri-service exhibition hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from the 13th-21st February 2013 is the leading international defence exhibition in the MENA region. The event was attended by military and high business leaders and hundreds of local and international defence manufacturers and contractors. IDEX featured live demonstrations, The Gulf Defence Conference and a showcase Unmanned Systems Area.
International Armoured Vehicles Show 2013
The Singleton PR Defence Team very much enjoyed attending the International Armoured Vehicles Show in Farnborough from 5th – 8th February 2013. The show is the world’s premier forum dedicated to the armoured vehicles community. This year, IAV once again brought us high-level conferences combined with a focused exhibition hall with a unique learning and networking experience. The conference segment of International Armoured Vehicles featured a speaker faculty of 50+ senior government officers and international flag offers from 47 military nations across 6 continents.
Transport Security Expo 2012
The Singleton PR Team attended the Transport Security Expo 2012 this week. The two-day event was comprised of conferences, exhibitions and workshops and was attended by over 600 delegates from all over the world, including delegates from Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Libya, Brazil and Morocco. The tenth anniversary of TranSec saw over 3000 visitors attend the show over the two days, making it the most successful show in its decade long history. The record attendance of both visitors and delegates highlights the continued importance of security within the transport sector. Over 100 key companies from across the globe exhibited at the event, giving all visitors and delegates an insight into the advances being made within the Transport Security industry.
Delegates received in depth Briefings about security concerns from International Organisations including: the United Nations (UN), North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), European Commission (EC), the EU NAVFOR along with others.
Senior figures from the Department for Transport (DfT), UK Border Agency and Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI), ACI Europe, Airport Operators Association (AOA) and other Industrial bodies debated impending changes to the aviation, airport, airline and security communities.
The show was a resounding success and will continue to be one of the most important events on the calendar for the Security and Transport industries
ILA Berlin Air Show 2012
The German Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel and the Deputy Minister President and Minister of Economics of the Republic of Poland, Waldemar Pawlak, opened ILA 2012. Described as “an unqualified success”, the ILA Berlin Air Show 2012 saw the highest number of exhibitors attend in its 100 year history. No less than 1,243 exhibitors from over 46 countries were present, providing outstanding displays to the 230,000 trade visitors and members of the public who also attended the event. Most of the trade visitors were from the following aviation and aerospace sectors: civil aviation, security and defence, aerospace, services, and research and development. The show took place on the new exhibition grounds at Berlin ExpoCenter Airport, where visitors were able to witness a total of 36 hours of flying displays. The Air Show saw the debut of new sections and topics which proved extremely popular,
including Unmanned Aircraft Systems and eco-efficient flight. A total of 282 aircraft were exhibited during the show including: an Airbus A-380 and a Boeing 747-8 as well as a Beluga from Airbus and a A-400M, the world’s most advanced military transporter .
Dietmar Schrick, Chief Executive of the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI) commented: “The record participation and international make-up of exhibitors at this year’s fair showed that ILA 2012 with its key
topics and new display sections was easily able to hold its own with competing international air shows”.

The SingletonPR team are getting ready for the Farnborough International Air Show. The seven day aviation extravaganza is “the largest global event of its kind”, with 1,400 exhibitors from Aerospace, Defence, Space and Security sectors showcasing their equipment and technology. The trade exhibition, running from 9th-13th July, offers exhibitors a chance to interact with other businesses, negotiate and conduct business transactions. Specialised conferences addressing issues in Aerospace and Space, as well as Defence and Security will be held throughout the week. The Air Show will cover a variety of exhibitions, including: an Unmanned Systems Showcase, the Innovation Zone, the Aviation Security Zone and the Space Zone as well as many others.
The Public Air Show, which takes place 14th-15th July, offers the chance to walk through static displays whilst meeting Pilots and ground crew and watch a stunning and exciting 4-hour flight display, compiled of various types of aircrafts. As a special addition this year there will also be a patriotic flying display to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Queen’s Jubilee. Over the course of the weekend, there will also be rides, interactive exhibits and a variety of attractions in the family arena, making the show a universally attractive event.

DVD took place on 20th-21st June- the two day annual stakeholder event for those interested in discussing issues affecting equipment and support for the UK’s Landforces.
The event was attended by both military and industry stakeholders, where discussions and briefings addressed a variety of issues affecting the UK’s Landforces. LOAS (Land Open System Architecture), a mechanism used by the MOD to create coherent military units for both peace time training and for operations, was a leading theme at this year’s event. In addition to numerous exhibitors, DVD 2012 provided a key networking and development opportunity for leading groups and organisations concerned with equipment and development, including: Land Equipment Operations Centre, Combat Tracks Group, General Support Group, Combat Wheels Group, Individual Capability Group, Joint and Battlefield Trainers and Synthetic Environments.
Eurosatory Exhibition 2012

The Eurosatory Exhibition in Paris was described as: “The only international exhibition 100% dedicated to Land Security and Defence”. Eurosatory hosted a variety of Defence and Security business meetings, Technology Clusters, live demonstrations, conferences and workshops. The Exhibition succeeded in attracting 1,433 Exhibitors from 53 different countries, 53,375 visitors, 155 Delegations from 84 different countries (including 2 International Organizations) and 684 Journalists.
As well as an impressive turnout of exhibitors, visitors and journalists, Eurosatory also invited numerous high level experts across the defence and security sector, a variety of international think tanks and international defence magazines.
